About Closva
What is Closva?
Closva is an M&A workspace for deal teams: in-house M&A and corporate development teams, and the advisers they work with. It brings files, people and buyers into one process, from the first documents to closing.
Who is Closva for?
In-house teams that buy and sell companies, M&A advisers and business brokers. Firms that want their own marketplace can also run the Closva marketplace under their own brand.
Who is behind Closva?
Closva is operated by CLOSVA AS, a Norwegian company with organisation number 936 629 466.
Is Closva a broker?
No. Closva provides the platform and the workflow. It is not a broker, agent, financial institution or party to a transaction between users.
The M&A workspace
Does AI run the deal for us?
No. Closva helps prepare, reconcile and draft the work. Your team reviews the figures, applies its judgement and approves what is shared.
Which files can we bring?
Annual and management accounts, budgets, forecasts and customer revenue, contracts, cap tables, leases, earlier memoranda, notes and scanned files, in formats such as PDF, XLSX, DOCX, PPTX and CSV.
What does Closva produce?
Teasers, an information memorandum, a red-flag report and a buyer shortlist, prepared from the same source material and linked back to their sources.
Can we use our own templates and brand?
Yes. Teasers, memoranda and agreements use your branding, and deliverables stay editable for your team.
Can outside advisers work in the same workspace?
Yes. You can invite advisers, lawyers and accountants to work with you, while your team keeps control of approvals and what is shared.
Data room, privacy and security
Who decides what buyers can see?
You do. You approve access file by file, keep each buyer group separate and decide when documents are released. Signing an NDA does not open the data room on its own.
Is there a record of what has been shared?
Yes. Closva keeps a record of releases and activity, so your team can trace who opened what.
How is personal data handled?
CLOSVA AS is the controller for personal data collected through the website and Closva tools. Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, which vendors we use and how long data is kept. Privacy requests can be sent to deal@closva.com.
Which vendors does Closva use?
Vendors such as Vercel, Supabase, Resend, OpenAI and Google Analytics where enabled, for hosting, database, email, report generation and analytics. The privacy policy has the details.
White-label marketplace
What is the white-label marketplace?
A confidential marketplace for buying and selling companies that runs under your own brand and domain, built on the Closva marketplace.
Will people see that a company is for sale?
Listings do not show the company name, organisation number or exact address. They show an anonymous description and rounded revenue and operating profit, and the identity is shared only after access is granted.
Do buyers have to sign an NDA?
It is the seller's choice for each listing. If an NDA is required, the buyer signs it digitally before the access request reaches the seller.
Pricing and getting started
What does Closva cost?
There is no fixed price list. We adjust the price to each company and its use case, based on your team, your deal volume, the products you need and the support you want.
How do we get started?
Book a demo with the team. Bring an example transaction and we will walk through the workspace, your templates and the right setup together.
Which languages is Closva available in?
The website is available in English, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian and Polish. Meetings are held in English, Norwegian or Spanish depending on who you book with.
