Who is responsible
Closva is operated by CLOSVA AS, Norwegian org. no. 936 629 466. We are the controller for personal data collected through closva.no, closva.com and Closva tools.
Privacy requests can be sent to deal@closva.com.
What we collect
When you request early access, we collect name, email, company, role, preferred language, referral source and message.
When you use the valuation tool, we process company details, manually entered financial inputs, valuation estimates, report requests, email address, technical logs, user agent and hashed IP address for rate limiting. After a completed company lookup, we store the company name, organization number, date, and a daily count without linking the lookup to an email address, IP address, or browser session.
Why we use the data
We use the data to respond to requests, send reports requested by the user, protect the service from abuse, improve the product and follow up with potential customers.
The legal basis is usually steps taken at the user's request, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, and consent where optional analytics cookies are used.
Vendors and transfers
We use vendors such as Vercel, Supabase, Resend, OpenAI and Google Analytics where enabled. They may process data for hosting, database, email, report generation and analytics.
Some vendors may involve transfers outside the EEA. Before production, relevant data processing agreements and transfer safeguards should be in place.
Retention and rights
Company lookup records containing the company name and organization number are kept for no more than 30 days and deleted automatically. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, with deletion routines for leads, reports, rate-limit data and email jobs.
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection where the law gives those rights. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
